"The Holidays" Fall 2023 Student Art Contest
We are delighted to announce the winners of the AIA Newark and Suburban Fall Student Contest, themed "The Holidays," aimed at igniting the creative design spark with Northern New Jersey area students in grades 6-12. At AIANS, we believe in fostering an interest for design from a young age, and this contest provides an exciting platform for students to express their unique perspectives.
We are thrilled to witness the artistic talents of the next generation unfold as they share their visions of "The Holidays" through various expressive designs. This contest not only celebrates creativity but also encourages students to explore the intersection of architecture/design and the joyous spirit of the holidays!
Winning students received awards of either Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Honor, and an Amazon gift card (Gold:$50, Silver: $25, Bronze: $20, Honor: $10). Certificates were signed by the 2023 AIANS President, Francisco A. Grimaldi, AIA.

As part of our commitment to showcasing the exceptional talents of our local students, we are excited to announce that the winning artworks will be featured in an art exhibition at the Newark Public Library in late January 2024.
