PRESENTATION
Ennead Architects LLP: Evolution of a Design Practice

Follow the growth, evolution and transition of a design practice from a sole-proprietorship, to a partnership, to a name change and a new generation of leadership. Joseph Fleischer, FAIA, a Founding Partner, and Thomas Wong, AIA, a third generation Design Partner, will address issues of design philosophy, practice management and office culture. The discussion will include a presentation of some of the Partnership's AIA National Design Award winning projects, and some recently completed projects, as well as some current national and international projects in various stages of development.

Presenters:

Joseph L. Fleischer, FAIA is Partner Emeritus at Ennead Architects LLP where he served as Managing Partner for over 45 years. He was responsible for the financial and operational management of the Partnership and served as Partner-in-Charge of many of the firm's award winning projects. Mr. Fleischer is a recognized expert in project management and practice administration, as well as project budgeting and cost control, construction technology, and construction administration services. He is a graduate of the City College of NY where he received his Bachelors of Architecture degree.

Thomas Wong, AIA, is a Design Partner in Ennead Architects LLP. Mr. Wong, together with his Design Partners, sets the design standards for the firm as well as charts its future direction. His design work on a broad range of typologies underpins his versatility and speaks to his approach to every project as a unique design problem that requires a distinct, specific and authentic solution. Mr. Wong is actively involved in Ennead's expansion in China. He received both a Master of Architecture degree and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University College of Architecture, Art and Planning.
