Description: This program offers an interactive virtual forum for AIA architect members to connect and share ideas about current challenges and visions for Post-Pandemic Architecture Practice. Each session will be a moderated “mini roundtable” discussion seeking to share knowledge and vision for how AIA members can survive, and even thrive, in the face of unprecedented current health and economic impacts

Course Limited to 12 Registrants. 

Learning Objectives:

1. Understand how architects have been helping clients, communities, and front-line workers during the pandemic crisis, and how such service might inform and inspire future practice.

2. Explore ideas and thoughts on how the architecture profession may be impacted, and potentially transformed, by the Covid-19 pandemic.

3. Share examples and best practices on how architecture firms are adapting to keep their practices open and even thriving during the pandemic. Evaluate new virtual approaches that may remain in the wake of the current health and economic challenges.

4. Discuss architecture, design and planning trends and opportunities that may result from the global pandemic, and how architects can lead and demonstrate intrinsic value to society as creators of healthy, safe, and beautiful buildings and spaces.
