Craig Konyk, AIA is the Chair and Assistant Professor of Architecture at the newly formed School of Public Architecture in the Michael Graves College at Kean University. He is the founder of KONYK, an innovative architecture & urban design studio. Craig has taught both at Pratt Institute’s GAUD and Columbia GSAPP. He has been awarded two NYFA fellowships, two ACSA Design Awards, six AIA New York Chapter Design Awards, and has exhibited work at Parsons School of Design, the Architectural League of New York, and the Storefront for Art and Architecture. He has been named an Emerging Voice by the Architectural League of New York and a finalist for the Rome Prize in Urban Design by the American Academy in Rome. He has served on the Boards of the Architectural League of New York, The Architect’s Newspaper and Artists Space Gallery in New York.







Edward Siegel is the founding principal of Edward Siegel Architect in New York City. His firm specializes in luxury residential, resort and specialty buildings. His work has been published in Architectural Digest, Traditional Building, Progressive Architecture, New York Spaces, and Luxe Interiors + Design magazines. Prior to founding his own firm, Ed was a partner and design director at Cooper Robertson. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University. Ed is an active member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) and the AIA, where co-chaired their NY Chapter’s Interiors Committee for eight years from 2011 through 2019. He has also served on the Advisory Board of CUNY’s New York City College of Technology’s Department of Architectural Technology, and has served on numerous academic and competition design juries. Ed is a LEED Accredited Professional, a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is professionally licensed in New York and New Jersey.






Ernesto Vela, AIA is a principal at Think! architecture and design, a Brooklyn based design firm. He helps lead the practice through a collaborative process. The firm has a strong commitment to bringing high quality design to affordable        housing and community focused projects. He has worked in New York City for the past 23 years on planning, civic, cultural, educational and residential projects. Ernesto holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University. Prior to joining Think!, Ernesto was an associate at Dattner Architects and a senior associate at Perkins Eastman Architects. Ernesto established Studio aVeK in 2017, a small workshop within the artist community in Long Island City, Queens, as a parallel endeavor to his architectural practice in order to have a wider research spectrum that also encompasses painting and the arts.

Over 40 entries were submitted, and NEW this year we recognize entries from students at Kean and NJIT.

Members attending the webinar will earn1.5 LUs.
