President’s Transition Update January 1, 2019

AIA Newark & Suburban Members:

I want to wish you all a Happy New Year as we ring in 2019! It was my pleasure to serve as 2018 President of AIA Newark & Suburban Architects, and to carry on the stewardship of our professional organization this past year. I was most pleased to see the great fellowship and dialogue between our members at the many programs we hosted.

French Nobel laureate, Anatole France said, “To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.” By nature architects excel at dreaming and planning. In 2019 I encourage us all to focus on “believing” and “acting” to further advance our profession, our communities, and our practices.

I want to welcome our new 2019 President, Paul Tiajoloff, AIA, and wish him luck as he takes the helm of AIANS for this coming year.

 Paul Tiajoloff, AIA
