Please join AIA-NS for a walking tour of Princeton University Campus. This tour will begin with visits to some of Princeton’s historic buildings, including Nassau Hall, Whitman College and early Collegiate Gothic masterpieces.  It will continue to include the juxtaposition of more modern buildings including Frank Gehry’s Science Building and other campus wonders. Prominent architects from AIA New Jersey were responsible for much of this work.

The tour leader, Mark Alan Hewitt, FAIA, is an architect, historian and preservationist practicing in Bernardsville, New Jersey. He has taught at Rice, Columbia, the University of Pennsylvania, and NJIT, and currently teaches in the Art History department at Rutgers, New Brunswick. His latest book, written with Philip Kennedy-Grant and Michael Mills, is the AIA New Jersey Guidebook: 150 Best Buildings and Places (2011).
