The Design Awards Committee is pleased to announce that the 20th annual Newark and Suburban Design Awards will be held Thursday, October 17th, 2013 from 5:30-9:30 PM at the Morris Museum in Morristown. Architecture will take its rightful place alongside the Museum’s fine arts exhibits as our member firms’ best work will be displayed in the Entrance Pavilion and Museum Court. Members and guests can stroll through the Museum and view the project boards and enjoy good food and wine in the Entrance Pavilion. We will be announcing the awards in the Museum’s 300-seat Bickford Theater with its state of the art sound and projection system. To make the evening more special, we will be able to tour the Museum’s exhibits and galleries throughout the night. And as always, there is the opportunity for good conversation and camaraderie with your fellow AIA members.
